The kickboxing aerobic classes are like no other in the area. It pushes everyone from the first time student to the veteran students that have been here from the beginning. The classes are designed to be modified to fit your potential. Classes change constantly to provide you with a variety of exercises, but will not leave you feeling lost.
Family Martial Arts and Fitness is owned and operated by 5th Dan, Master Instructor James P. Meighan. Master Meighan is the head instructor for both the kickboxing aerobics and the karate programs. Both Tang Soo Do karate and kickboxing aerobic classes are offered at our school. Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art that has been taught for over 2000 years. Traditional forms, self -defense techniques and physical fitness are all part of the Tang Soo Do karate program. We provide separate classes for children and adults, as well as family instruction class. The kickboxing aerobic class offers the benefits of basic boxing techniques along with aerobic and strength training. Both of these programs offer a great opportunity to build confidence, coordination and discipline. Come to our location at 661 Bridgeton Pike in Mantua, NJ and watch a class. Family Martial Arts belongs to the intercontinental Tang Soo Do Organization. It is headed by Grandmaster Dominick A. Giacobbe, with locations throughout the United States and are the world. Grandmaster Giacobbe has been training in Tang Soo Do for over 40 years. He teaches throughout Europe on a regular basis and is recognized throughtout the world. Each and every school is under the tutelage of truly one of the great masters in the world of karate. Grandmaster Giacobbe has been in several magazines and on television shows such as "Guinness Book of World Records" and "That's Incredible". Black Belt magazine has recognized Grandmaster Giacobbe as a member of their Hall of Fame and as "Man of the Year".
